glass and antique artifacts. The diverse elements and colors
are individually knotted by hand with silk thread into multiple
STRANDS OF ART™ and range in price from $500 to $7500.

Adornment is an age old tradition and can give us a clue to
the thought process of our ancestors. Bead making and stringing
were unique examples of abstract thinking in primitive cultures
and must have provided such a source of pleasure for the artists
and the wearers. Throughout time jewelry has forged a connection
between people and their environment. Quantities of beads for
personal adornment were displayed as objects of wealth and to
affirm social status. Trade was a critical part of the communication
among diverse societies in the ancient world and wearing your
bank around your neck encouraged interaction to foster communication
